Brendan Rooph
… is a young folk musician who presents raw emotion and authenticity through his soulful vocals and uniquely intimate fingerpicking technique — inspired by the likes of Hozier, Tatsuro Yamashita, and Nina Simone.
Originally from Southeast Alaska, Rooph lyricizes his attempts to make sense of his experiences via an unrestrictive exploration of genre, showing his understanding of the unrestrictive nature of becoming. Rooph frequently explores themes of love, dreams, and obsession.
